Terms of Service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at aegle.care and any informational materials made available through it (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Professional services provided by Aegle Management LLC ("Aegle") to healthcare organizations are governed by a separate written services agreement and, where protected health information is involved, a Business Associate Agreement. Those agreements — not these Terms — control the delivery of our services.

2. No medical advice and no patient relationship

Important. Aegle is not a healthcare provider. Nothing on this Site, and nothing said by our AI telephone assistant or our staff, constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or hear from us.

⚠️ If you are experiencing a medical emergency, hang up and dial 911 immediately.

Use of the Site does not create a physician-patient relationship, and it does not create a contractual relationship between Aegle and any patient. Clinical decisions are made solely by licensed clinicians at the healthcare organizations we support.

3. Our services, in summary

Aegle provides administrative and operational support to healthcare organizations, including an AI-assisted inbound telephone assistant, callcenter and patient-retention support, scheduling coordination, documentation support, and related back-office services. We act as a Business Associate of the healthcare organizations we serve and perform services at their direction.

4. Automated telephone assistance

Where a healthcare client uses our AI telephone assistant, callers are informed at the start of the call that they are speaking with an automated assistant. Callers may request a human at any time. Calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, documentation, and staff training, in accordance with applicable law and the healthcare organization's own patient notices. The assistant does not provide clinical advice and directs medical emergencies to 911.

5. Permitted use of the Site

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or any data;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation, security, or availability;
  • Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Site without our written permission;
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, or attempt to probe or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization;
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate any person or entity.

6. Do not submit health information through the Site

Please do not submit protected health information, medical details, or other sensitive personal information through our website contact form or by ordinary email. These channels are not secured for that purpose. If you need to share health information with us, contact us and we will provide a secure method.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, the Aegle name and marks, page design, and software — are owned by Aegle or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print materials from the Site for your own internal, non-commercial reference. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written consent.

8. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites or resources. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or privacy practices. Accessing a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its contents are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aegle and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in this section affects the terms of any separate written services agreement or Business Associate Agreement between Aegle and a healthcare organization.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aegle and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal information and protected health information is described in our Privacy & Data Usage Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Changes to the Site and to these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Site, or any part of it, at any time. We may also update these Terms; the "Last updated" date above indicates when. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy & Data Usage Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aegle regarding the Site. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.
